BE Transformed enjoys ResCamp!
For the second year in a row BE Transformed, an inner city ministry in Baltimore, had the opportunity to bring children to Church of the Resurrection's "Res Camp".
ResCamp 2023
Each day, over 400 people including 215 Campers and Jr. Crew Leaders swarmed our church to create a crazy and beautiful summer camp called, Twists and Turns: Following Jesus Changes the Game. Through games, activities, skits, and all sorts of fun, the message of God's faithfulness and love for us was on full display.
Love in Action Challenge
The "Love in Action Challenge" is a virtual race that was organized last year in honor and in memory of the Rev. Jack Grubbs (former Canon for Ordinations for the Diocese), an avid runner, and Board Chairman of Shade, an organization that helps children with albinism who are mistreated or in danger.

I remember one evening at our Creative Thinking club, we were sharing our "Highs and Lows" for the day and one of our children's low was that he did not get his free lunch that day because there was no school. When we heard this, our team knew how important it would be to implement this lunch program at BE Transformed.

Remembering the Rev. Canon Jack Grubbs
Our beloved Canon for Ordinations, the Rev. Jack Grubbs, died on November 4 after a seven-month battle with cancer. So many clergy have shared how much his wise counsel and gracious pastoral care meant to them through their ordination process.
