The College of Bishops convened in Melbourne, Florida, from January 13 to 17, 2025, for their annual January meeting. This gathering provided a valuable opportunity for fellowship, worship, and strategic planning for the Anglican Church in North America.

Through worship, prayer, teaching, and partnership, the New Wineskins Conference gathers cross-cultural workers, global partners, mission agencies, resource ministries, and the global church to discover effective ways to collaborate with God and one another to fulfill the Great Commission!

ARDF is reaching out to ACNA churches in wildfire affected, California communities to see how they are and to learn the current needs.

We have given ourselves to church planting, international missions, caring for the vulnerable and under-resourced, collaborating with brothers and sisters from all nations to advance the Kingdom of God. This is the work of our initiatives.

A Time of Rest at the ACNA Provincial Clergy Women’s

Hurricane Harvey (2017) happened over 7 years ago, but we at ARDF remember it well. This category 4 hurricane caused catastrophic flooding and displaced more than 30,000 people in TX and LA - becoming the catalyst for Anglicans all over the country to help survivors of natural disasters through our Domestic Disaster Response Network. 

Andy Dalstra, who is a part of our church family at Church of the Redeemer in Camden has always loved all of God's creatures, especially those who need rescue or special care. She is becoming certified to be an NC Wildlife Rehabilitator specializing in opossums.

On October 30, 2024, the Rt. Rev. Steve Wood was made the Archbishop of the ACNA. Read more about this service and watch a video.

The Deaf Community is one of the least reached people groups in the world. In the USA, a recognized estimate is only 2-5% of deaf claim any religious faith at all. There are many factors giving rise to this alarming statistic but one of them is not being able to envision the concept of God, or the incarnate Jesus, as relatable or accessible to deaf people.

This was my first opportunity to attend the provincial assembly. I was privileged to serve as a delegate and as a subdeacon in the opening Eucharist.

Each day we were led in a study of 2Timothy by the Right Reverend Rennis Ponniah (Retirred Bishop, Singapore). I was so grateful for the large turnout of leaders from our Diocese with more 50 participating.

The Most Rev. Stephen D. Wood was elected as the third Archbishop of the Province of the Anglican Church in North America on June 22, 2024. On Friday, June 28, 2024, authority was passed to him during the closing Eucharist of Provincial Assembly at the St. Vincent College Basilica in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Meet our new Archbishop!

Please pray for the College of Bishops as we seek to discern whom, from the 30 Diocesan Bishops, the Lord has prepared and anointed to be Archbishop for this next season of the Church’s life.

In this season of the Holy Spirit, I am writing to remind you to pray for the College of Bishops as we prepare to select the new Archbishop and Primate of the Anglican Church in North America.
