In-person attendance at the Saturday business session is for delegates and clergy only. You are invited to watch virtually the annual Synod, both the Eucharist at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19 and the business meeting on Sat., Nov. 20 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Like yours, my story is complicated, and my understanding of God and his grace is equally tangled. The gap between what I know to say and teach about the graciousness of God and my experience of him as a God of grace is sometimes painfully wide.

The Saturday business session of the 2021 DOMA Synod will be in-person attendance for clergy and lay delegates only, with others viewing the Synod livestream online. Non-delegates are welcome to attend in person the Pre-Synod Workshop on Friday afternoon and the Eucharist service that evening. Registration is required for the Pre-Synod Workshop, but not for the Eucharist service.

The Diocese of the Mid-Atlantic invites you to the annual pre-synod workshop. This year’s program is Healthy Clergy and Church Leadership: Cultivating congregational health as clergy & lay leaders, featuring Dr. Diane Langberg & The Rev. Tuck Bartholomew. Held at The Falls Church Anglican.

Please mark your calendar for November 12 at 7 p.m. for our first Equip! session, “Surviving the Digital Shift.” The video will be posted a week in advance, so you’ll have time to view it. We look forward to trying this new format with you and hope that it will scratch the itch for us as we discern how best to "Be the Church in the Digital World."

On Saturday, Nov 21, 2020, the official business of Synod 2020 will be held virtually.

At this time, a decision has not been made if Synod will be held in person at All Saints’ church or on line. Right now it’s too early to tell. However, the deadline for submission are still in place…
