The Gathering 2022

You are invited to attend The Gathering 2022 — an annual event provided by the Matthew 25 Initiative, one of the ministry initiatives within the Anglican Church in North America. This year's event takes place February 22-24, 2022 in El Paso, Texas, with a theme of Building Bridges: Peacemaking + Reconciliation + Conflict-Resolution.

Please consider attending if you're a Bridgebuilder who crosses divides, mends gaps, reconciles, makes peace, and brings close those who are far!

Each year, Matthew 25 Initiative designs The Gathering to be an amalgam of a retreat and a conference, offering Anglicans working, living, and serving across North America space to both breathe in encouragement and join fellow practitioners in finding ways to serve and love the most vulnerable, marginalized, and under-resourced populations.

Some highlights of this year's event include:

• Expert peacemakers and mediator presenters

• In-depth breakout sessions

• White papers and an art reconciliation encounter

• A full fiesta right at the border wall with mariachis

• Hike to overlook the borderplex and see its symbiotic relationship

• Meals catered by neighborhood moms who are leaders in Ciudad Nueva

• Optional Silent Retreat before and a Border Encounter after the event.
