Women's History Month: Resources & Opportunities
Women's History Month is a celebration of women's contributions to history, culture and society and has been observed annually in the month of March in the United States since 1987. During March, you are invited to enjoy a variety of opportunities and resources created by women and for women.
The vision of the Women’s Leadership Network is to discover, develop, and deploy lay and ordained female leaders in the gifts, knowledge, and skills God has given them, equipping them to confidently lead in their context of ministry. Each month WLN offers a variety of opportunities for women. Take particular note of the healing prayer event this month where our own Kathleen Christopher is presenting the training. Read the most recent newsletter for more opportunities and resources during Lent.

In addition, this time last year, Bishop Chris wrote: “As it is Women’s History month (as well as Lent), why not include as part of your seasonal spiritual practices reading at least one book by a Christian woman author? Not sure who to read? Which women authors and what books have challenged and benefited your life in Christ? I would love to know who they are. Hit "reply" to this email, and we'll share a list of suggestions in the next newsletter.”
Here is the list of authors (and books) sent in reply to that request. Thank you for responding and sharing!
