“During this season of the Covid-19 virus we are in a hard time. Each of us in very different ways. Many of us can’t see family, let alone host a camp right now. A deep sadness seems to have permeated our lives.Graduations have been canceled, you can’t be with your friends, a wedding reception is postponed, a job layoff announced, a friend has the virus, another has died. Adults are scared. How will we make it? What about our home, our food, our future, our elderly parents far away? Parents are exhausted. Cooped up with toddlers, you stagger through the day. The quiet, clean office has been replaced by whiny kids and dirty diapers. Tele-working isn’t working well. Teen-agers are oh so grumpy. And it seems to be all “your fault.”It can be hard just to get up in the morning, to face another day of feeling overwhelmed, unproductive and out of sorts. How will I get through unplanned homeschool lessons I don’t understand, keep toddlers entertained inside, handle the emotional swings of a teenager, and be nice to my husband? When will I get some alone time? Ever?

But before we get to the “nuts and bolts,” there are a few things you need to know…”
