The Legacy Grandparenting Summit
The Children and Family Ministries at Church of the Apostles, 11717 Lee Highway, Fairfax, VA 22030, invites you to The Legacy Grandparenting Summit on Thu., Oct. 20 and Fri., Oct. 21, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Though the conference is aimed at grandparents, the material is important for aunts and uncles and any other adults in a child’s life. As prayed in the Anglican baptismal liturgy, the church community agrees to, by their witness of the baptism vows, do all in our power to support these persons in their life in Christ, and the Congregation responds, "We will."
The vision of the Legacy Coalition is to help grandparents create opportunities to pass on their faith to their grandchildren. Legacy Coalition, help’s grandparents grow in their biblical role through resources and events, providing an opportunity to create a greater spiritual impact on their grandchildren.
The conference fee is $59 for one, or $98 for a couple. The registration includes:
8 main sessions
2 Breakout sessions
a video replay link for all registrants
plus videos of all the other breakout sessions.
There will be ample time for networking with other grandparents, to hear from some of our very own grandparents, as well as a resource table with many free and fun resources for grand parenting.
