Eagle Scout Project Assists Church Food Giveaway

Isaac Fair of All Saints’ Church in Woodbridge, VA led a team of teens (and adults) to help build new storage boxes for the church’s Food Pantry as his Eagle Scout project for Boy Scouts. The new boxes are located inside and outside of the church, with the ability to transport donated food items much easier than the former boxes. The design he developed for the outdoor box has a cart located within the box so that all food items donated are already loaded, and ready to move for organizing before a Food Giveaway, which serves approximately 200 families in the community each month. His original idea, work, and leadership have created a much more visually appealing and functional benefit to our Food Pantry. Take a look at the photos that include Isaac leading the team working on his project and the completed boxes.
