On Wednesday April 27th I attended the Virginia March for Life with Bishop John Guernsey, Mother Meg, and our friends from Diocese of the Mid-Atlantic,Shepherd's Heart Anglican, The Falls Church Anglican, and All Saints Anglican Church. We had a wonderful time standing for life in the Virginia Capitol and being a voice for the voiceless.
It is essential for us to remember that the enemy's work is death and destruction and we need to stand with Jesus against the enemy's plan to kill and destroy life. Jesus said that he came so that everyone would have life and have it abundantly.
In John 10:7-11, "Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep."
May we stand with Jesus for life, for all of life, from conception to natural death.

From Ed Speare (All Saints’ Church): It was a great weather day to be marching! Excellent array of Rally speakers (including the VA Lt. Governor), a fair turnout of folks, and having the Virginia Governor come alongside made it a day of firsts for the Commonwealth.
