Steeple Installed at Immanuel
Immanuel Anglican in Woodbridge, VA is excited! In 2013 God gave us our new name. In 2015 He gave us new property and a promise that when the time was right, we would move into our Mission Outpost at 7075 Hoadly Rd. here in Prince William County. That day is rapidly approaching. On May 20, John Recny, our architect said, "Today, we are thankful that the steeple was installed safely and with competence and excellence. To God Be the Glory! He has marked Immanuel’s Mission Outpost as a building that was built to serve the Lord forever!" We now have power to the building, parking lot lights, and the church sign which is ready to be installed. Our sanctuary chairs and altar rail will arrive soon; and the remaining furniture and appliances are ready to order. The walls are painted; lighting installed; and pending inspection, the ceiling will be enclosed. A talented, generous local artisan is creating our beautiful sanctuary cross. Our exterior cross will soon be visible as you enter our driveway. Sidewalks are being poured; grading has been completed; and the force main system is completed and connected to the sewer. On May 25, our members wrote favorite Scripture verses on the sanctuary subfloor to remind us that we are building a firm foundation on the Lord and standing on His Scripture promises.
Please pray for our generator and pump station permit to arrive without further delay so we can obtain the required occupancy permit this summer; for continued protection and safety for the workers on and off site; and for the remaining building supplies to be available when needed and without increased cost. Pray also with thanksgiving for HLR Architects and Hammerhead Construction, the excellent Christian professionals that are helping us fulfill God's promises; for the new neighbors who have welcomed us to the neighborhood; and that in late August we can join with Jesus as described in John.1:14, The Message: "The Word became flesh and blood and moved into the neighborhood!"
